Women In Comedy is a non profit tax exempt 501(c)3 organization founded by comedian and entrepreneur Victoria Elena Nones . 

 

With over 50 volunteers in various cities and an advisory board of over 20 professionals in comedy and business, Women In Comedy strives to create better representation and experiences for women and minorities in comedy.

 

Women In Comedy is headquartered in the comedy mecca of the United States - Chicago, IL.  Our organization runs solely on volunteer efforts and donations. We are an inclusive organization providing free and low cost events, resources, and education to women and girls seeking paid careers in comedy. We are establishing chapters of female comedians in all cities to create the first and only international professional network of comedic women and resources for women working in comedy (or aspiring to!).
